Release History and Future Releases
New features are added here as they are implemented prior to release. Whilst "planned" features may be beta tested by downloading the version linked here, features may not yet be fully tested or have documentation available.
Releases
This table details the changes for each version of Icon Map Slicer. For each version a .pbiviz (Power BI Visual) and .pbix (Sample Power BI Report file) may be available to download by clicking on the relevant icon.
Please note that if you download a version that is not current live AppSource version (read the note below) you will need to put Power BI Desktop in Developer Mode before importing the .pbiviz file, otherwise the version loaded will be replaced by the version live in AppSource. This also applies to the sample file. Once opened in Power BI Desktop, you will need to turn on developer mode, and then import the associated .pbiviz file.
Version | .pbiviz | .pbix | Date | Notes |

AppSource version
Please note, the version listed in AppSource may not reflect the actual version downloaded. Please check the version listed in the visual's formatting settings:
Known issues
The following are current known issues:
- The visual appears blurry - This is a Power BI / Chrome issue with both Chrome and Edge web browsers. A fix to both browsers is expected in September. A mitigation is to add a title to the visual using the "General" section of the formatting settings.
- Report page tooltips immediately close after opening - This is a known Power BI bug. Microsoft have not provided an ETA for a resolution.
- Attribution message doesn't minimise - This is a bug that will be resolved in a future release of Icon Map Slicer.
